The Trails of

Roma at Three Rivers

Nine kilometers of

intersecting trails await you.

Natural History    Recreation

Historic Sites of the

Three Rivers Watershed

For magnificent river views try the short Heritage Trail through the sites where Jean Pierre Roma established his community in the 1730s and where the Macdonalds built ships in the 1800s. Then explore further along the 2.5 km Brudenell River Trail; extend  your walk another kilometer through the Pine Woods and Bog. The Farmstead Loop,  the Recreation Loop, and the Woodland Trail each have their special pleasures.

Island Trails Association

was given a special guided tour

on Dec 4, 2004.

The general public were invited too.

Pictured are some of the 45 people

who enjoyed the outing.

By chance Athol Robertson met author Jill MacLean June 23, 2005

in Athol’s Glade
